Great service, had a burger and an Italian sausage and both were great. Took home some chicken parm and spaghetti meatballs for dinner.

It is refreshing to say that continuously The Drunken Onion offers a great variety of delightful treats and side dishes. The owner and staff are so friendly and serve with integrity! And I have used them a couple of times for functions at my home. Will continue to be a frequent consumer and spread the word about this wonderful place.

Just a quick note to thank you for a great job catering the wedding. We had many compliments on the food, especially the prime rib. Your staff was very professional and courteous. Amazing job cleaning up!!! The site was a little unusual and we really appreciate your willingness to bring our vision to reality and help us put together what we think was a magical event. Doug and Lauren were so happy! Thanks again for your hard work and please pass along our gratitude to your staff for a job well done.

Ben, Just wanted to let you know we loved our first experience at The Drunken Onion today. We were completely starved and numb from tubing in the river, we needed food now! You provided us with wonderful service, the lady that greeted us did a great job of explaining the menu and what to expect in the future. And then best of all our food was delicious. We had meatloaf and mashers, a portabello wrap, some slaw and a cookie. Looking forward to trying some more of your yummy creations. Thanks for a great meal.

Yesterday I had to prepare lunch for a group (total of 20 people) that was in doing a site visit from our Corporate Office. I ordered from the Drunken Onion, Ben prepared a beef stroganoff, Caesar salad, homemade brownies and cookies – the food was EXCELLENT, most everyone went up for seconds. Ben worked with the time that was best for me to pick up the food and then all I had to do was heat it. I know I will be using Ben’s service again, if any of you are needing to provide lunch or dinner I highly recommend the Drunken Onion.

That was a mother ’f’ing perfect-tasting croissant breakfast sando.

I wanted to write to express our appreciation for the meals you provided to our group during our recent trip to Steamboat. In addition to the food being absolutely fantastic, from the appetizers, to the sandwich fixings, to the amazing full dinners, the convenience of being able to stay in our house rather than going out allowed for a much more intimate experience with our guests. Your professionalism, combined with the high-quality food, will certainly have us coming back again next year.

Thank you for all of your hard work and creativity in helping us plan our wedding reception dinner. Your staff was absolutely amazing, professional & extremely courteous. Our food was the bomb! We asked for something different, and we got it. We’ve been to a bunch of weddings and our was by far the best executed, and that started with you!

— Da Bomb

Thank you so much for your amazing food and outstanding service! Also, thanks for standing up to the challenge of our wedding site. Everything was perfect!

— Lauren Bruchez

Thank you for all the yummy choices you had available for our trip to Steamboat! It's been challenging finding options for only two people. I also have dietary restrictions and was able to get quite a few things!

— Anne

We're sad we didn't know about this earlier. We've been coming to steamboat for years and this is a great choice when you don't want to cook food, but want some quality food. Everyone in your group can get what they want and then take it back to your condo to eat and relax.

—Joe Schaack

WOW! What a Thanksgiving FEAST we just had! My husband, son and I are from MS and were not sure how we were going to celebrate Thanksgiving away from home and family. Having all the traditional “fixin’s” helped make it feel like home. What a special day we have had – we have a lot to be thankful for! thank you for helping to make it special!

What goes best with 30 degree temps & blowing sand…Ben’s chicken noodle and carrot ginger soup! Thanks so much for keeping me going through the night at this year’s 24 hours of Moab – a delicious reward after each brutal lap.

— Karen Tremaine, Steamboat

Thanks so much for all of your help. The mousse was a HUGE hit at my party this weekend! The women DEVOURED it!

— Kim Kreissig, Steamboat

Ben and the staff at Drunken Onion went above and beyond my expectations on my wedding day! The planning was done remotely because Steamboat Springs was our destination wedding location. From the beginning, Ben had me feeling excited about the menu and at ease with all the planning details. As an event planner and designer I was reassured that everything would be taken care of I knew that Ben would make it happen! He worked with all of our special requests and combined his creativity and experience to create a fabulous menu. It was so nice to just relax, sit back and enjoy the day while the staff worked the event flawlessly. I was so impressed with the professionalism, the service, decor, food -the whole package! We made one of the best wedding decisions to work with Drunken Onion, I can’t recommend them enough.

Ben and Onion Crew: I have eaten at your joint a number of times and always been impressed. I recently had your clam chowdah and damn—it was tasty. I usually order New England Clam Chowder when it is on a menu so I have tasted quite a few—some are way salty, some are too fishy or not savory enough—yours was just right especially on Steamboat’s first snowy day of the season—Bring on the chowdah, bring on the powdah!

— John Cardillo, Steamboat

Thank you, thank you for a most delicious, relaxing Thanksgiving dinner. Vunderbar!!

— Joan Gibbs, Steamboat

I was on the Men’s Journal shoot at the rodeo last weekend and I just wanted to let you know how amazing the food was. The fish tacos were amazing and the guacamole was the best I have ever had! Any way to score the recipe? We are all CRAVING it back in NYC.

— Brynn Carhart, New York, NY

If you’re looking for a quick and easy, reasonably priced, gourmet lunch or dinner – my favorite is Steamboat’s newest ‘get-and-go kitchen’, the Drunken Onion. Besides a colorful and tasty array of wraps, sandwiches and salads to satisfy your lunchtime craving, Owner and Chef, Ben Stroock, has prepared four huge coolers full of fresh, ‘heat-and-serve’ gourmet dinners!

— Allison Finn, Steamboat

The mashers were a HUGE hit — our daughter wanted seconds (and thirds!), and we had lovely leftovers last night.

Thanks again for making our Christmas Dinner such a fond memory!
